How to measure your wall for wallpaper
We customize our wallpapers based on the exact dimensions of your wall. All we need is the width and height of your wall at the longest and widest possible points.
How to measure your wall
Using a measuring tape, please note down the widest width and the highest height of your wall. We only need your wall measurements, please don’t include any skirting board, crown molding, sockets or rails.
We will add 10cm to your height and 10cm to your width which will give us adequate excess paper for trimming, making the installation safer and easier.
Don't forget to double check your measurements before sending them to us.
Standard Wall
The simplest of all walls - measure the exact height and width of the wall without any skirting board, crown molding, sockets or rails.
Sloped Wall
If you have a sloped ceiling or a slant, measure the maximum width only, ignoring any slopes. Our wallpapers will be produced as a whole rectangle and the slope is cut away during installation.
Pitched Wall
If your walls have two slants, simply identify and measure the maximum height and width of the wall. Our wallpapers are produced as a whole rectangle and the slants are cut away during installation.
Walls with obstacles
For walls with doors, windows, sockets and cupboards, only measure the maximum height and width of the wall as seen in the picture. Our wallpapers will be produced to cover the whole surface area of your wall, with the obstacle being cut away during installation.
Multiple Walls
If you are looking to wallpaper multiple walls, please provide us with the maximum height and width of the 2 separate walls.
If you are unsure, please send us a picture of your wall at hello@hellocircus.com and we can advise you further. We are always here for you. Can't wait to dress up your walls with a Hello Circus wallpaper.
